Epitome is based in Helsinki, Finland. Our Consultancy and Advisory take place both in person in the city and remotely with clients internationally, retaining the same privacy, depth and close attention across locations and time zones.

Our Finnish character is present in the way we work: direct communication, low-ego collaboration, quiet discretion, exacting standards and direction grounded in what will actually work. We value substance over spectacle and clarity over unnecessary complexity.

Martta’s background is in Creative Direction and Post-production. She holds a BA in Culture and Arts, specialising in Media and Film with a focus on visual expression and production. Her background spans film, television, music and business, followed by three years advising founders, experts, creators and talent on the direction and perception of their work and careers.

Her strength is seeing the strongest possibility within a person or idea—and the precise choices required to bring it into focus. Her approach is intuitive, strategic and exact: she sees the whole while identifying the details that determine the outcome.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

 

I left the film industry because I wanted my skills to help real people.

My work had taught me to see the strongest possibility within an idea—and to shape the concept, expression and world capable of bringing it fully to life. Three years ago, I founded this company and began applying that expertise to real work and careers of people dedicated to building something real and big.

A pattern soon became impossible to ignore. Many were exceptionally driven, intelligent and creative, yet the direction and perception we established could only progress as far as their performance allowed. Potential and vision were always present; the capacity to execute and sustain them consistently was not there the way it should have been.

Meanwhile Kasper had been developing the other side through performance consulting. His work revealed the opposite side: elevating performance level had to include addressing the clients’ intentions and direction.

Since 2022, our conversations have kept returning to one question: why are so many high-potential individuals not leading work and careers that reflect their true potential?

Working independently, we had each arrived at the same answer within our own field: Self-Leadership. In my work, it became Self-Authorship over Direction and Perception. In Kasper’s, Self-Mastery over Physiology and Performance.

Bringing them together completed the answer. Potential can only be realised when self-leadership is in place for both direction and perception, and performance. One without the other will always leave potential unrealised.

Once we saw that, the next era of Epitome was inevitable.

Performance ADVISOR & Consultant

Kasper is a registered physiotherapist and strength coach. His background combines physiotherapy and performance consulting for executives and a decade of strength coaching competitive athletes.

He approaches performance as one integrated system across the body, behaviour and everyday life. His work is analytical, direct and practical: he identifies what is limiting capacity and what must change for high-level performance to become more consistent and sustainable.
