DIRECTION & PERCEPTION
Build your work around its greatest potential—and make its value unmistakable to the people you want to reach.
direction and perception go hand in hand.
Direction determines what the work becomes. Perception determines how that work is understood, valued and acted upon. Each affects the other.
Direction and Perception are closely connected, so developing one may also require adjustments to the other. A new direction may call for different positioning or expression, while changing how the work is perceived may require refining the concept or direction behind it.
Our method is holistic and integrative: it locates the true bottleneck and resolves it at the source, so Direction and Perception serve the greatest possible impact.
how we help
-
In hiding & analysis paralysis → WE BRING IT INTO THE WORLD
We turn the strongest possibility in your ideas into a concept you can commit to. Then we decide what needs to be created, how the work should first appear publicly and which decisions can wait.
-
Overlooked & undervalued → WE MAKE ITS VALUE RECOGNISABLE
We find where the value of your work gets lost between what you do and what others understand. The work itself, its positioning and its expression are brought into line so the right people can see its quality and know why it matters to them.
-
Depleted & Stagnated → WE RESHAPE IT
We figure out why the work feels wrong: whether its direction is taking you away from what you’re actually meant to do, its current form asks you to be someone you’re not, or the way you’re perceived keeps bringing you work you no longer want to do.
Together, we reshape it into a version that feels natural and rewarding to pursue—while still creating real value for others.
-
Restless for reinvention & a fresh start → WE GIVE THE NEXT CHAPTER A FORM
We turn what you’ve built, learned and want to pursue next into a clear direction and concept. Then we shape how that next chapter is positioned and introduced, so the change is authentic and undeniable both to you and others.
Where potential is lost
-
MISALIGNED DIRECTION
High-potential work—or an entire career—can be built around a version that is smaller than its potential, or taken in a direction that won’t lead to its greatest impact or meaningful success.
No amount of branding can correct a direction that is fundamentally misaligned.
-
PROXIMITY DISTORTS PERSPECTIVE
Direction and Perception are exceptionally difficult to get right from inside the work. The people closest to it cannot see it objectively.
You know its intention, history and every choice behind it. A new audience sees none of that. It sees only what is in front of it and places it immediately beside everything else in the field.
When the response is limited recognition—or silence—it is impossible to know where the constraint lies and how to fix it.
-
The Common trap
Seeking answers from people who cannot give an objective one.
Your team sees the work through its own roles, expertise and priorities.
People who know you personally see your work through their existing idea of who you are, what is possible for you and their own limitations. They are not the audience the work needs to reach.
Even your target audience can only tell you what they notice or respond to. They cannot tell you whether the direction is right, what is creating the wrong impression or how to correct it.
That requires a specialist who can assess the work objectively, in its full context.
-
THE EPITOME PERSPECTIVE
objective & impartial
We are not invested in preserving the existing version of the work, defending past decisions or reinforcing a familiar role. The sole interest is in what will allow the work to succeed.
That makes it possible to see the work as it is actually encountered: its true first impression, its position in the field and the changes required for it to reach the right people.
Branding changes how existing work is presented. Our work in Direction and Perception spans every layer—from the value, direction and creation of the work itself to the person leading it, its expression, and the reputation, career and legacy taking shape around it.
The strongest impact is not added afterwards. It is infused into what is created, embodied by the person building and representing it and reinforced wherever either is encountered.
The result is a more coherent, credible and lasting foundation for recognition, trust, influence and long-term success.

Martta Norvanto
FOUNDER · CREATIVE advisor · PERCEPTION CONSULTANT
Martta’s perspective was formed behind the screen. She holds a BA in Culture and Arts, specialising in Media and Film with a focus on visual expression and production. Across film, television, music video and branding, she developed an instinctive understanding of how character, atmosphere and creative choices shape what an audience believes and feels.
For the past three years, she has brought that expertise into consulting and advisory work with founders, artists and experts. Her particular strength is recognising the most compelling truth within a person or idea—and protecting it from dilution as it moves from intuition into public reality.
Martta works with unusual speed and precision, moving naturally between the smallest detail and the larger trajectory. Her direction is intuitive, strategic and decisive: clear on what matters, what weakens the outcome and what deserves to remain.
CLIENT Experiences
“I didn’t realise how obvious it had become that I had no direction. My content, image and personal brand were all over the place, and I’d completely lost the reason I started.
Martta saw it immediately and told me, very specifically, what had to change—from the overall concept and the way I presented myself to what I made and how I produced it.
I got excited about creating again and started publishing much more. Soon people were paying for the content, and I was contacted by collaborators I had wanted to work with for years.”
—Independent Creator“I have a lot of ideas and move fast, but turning the vision in my head into a clear, premium business has always been the difficult part. I can explain something to Martta in the most chaotic way possible and she still understands what I’m trying to create—sometimes before I do.
She sees all the possible versions of it, identifies the strongest one and gives me direction for the entire company, from the concept and communication to how it should look and be brought to life.
The biggest relief is knowing the idea won’t lose its value between my head and the final result. I want her involved in everything I build.”— Founder“I was doing work that used only a fraction of what I knew. I had a much broader way of looking at a difficult problem, but it was all in my head and I had no larger direction for it.
Martta was the one who recognised that it could become something of its own. She challenged me to build a personal brand and start turning what I knew into a real body of work.
It put me into a completely different gear. I’m writing and creating constantly now because I finally have something meaningful to work towards and a place for everything I know.”— Expert service providerSelected client work
